This makes it difficult for human rights organizations to carry out their work and puts human rights defenders at risk.

Another challenge facing human rights advocacy is resource constraints. Many  NGOs that engage in human rights advocacy face financial and logistical challenges that limit their ability to carry out their work effectively. Limited resources can lead to reduced advocacy activities, which can result in a lack of awareness and action on human rights issues. This can be particularly challenging in developing countries where resources are scarce.

Ensuring accountability for violations of human rights is another major challenge facing human rights advocacy. In many cases, individuals who commit human rights abuses are not held accountable for their actions. This can be especially true in conflict situations or where individuals are targeted for their activism. The lack of accountability can lead to a  culture of impunity, where human rights abuses are normalized and  continue to occur without consequences.
